VI.506. Sarah Lyon, (Nath. 5 Lyon, Eliz. 4, Nath. 3, John 2, Wm. 1). Mar. Abiel Holmes Maltby, a third cousin and also first cousin of Rev. James Harvey Linsley, husband of Sophia Brainard Lyon. They had no children. Abial 5 Holmes Maltby (Jonathan 4, Benj. 3, Dan. 2, Wm. 1).

VI.509. John Beecher, b. 1783 (Mary 5 Lyon, Eliz. 4, Nath. 3, John 2, Wm. 1). Mar. in 1823, Hannah Maria Huntington, b. 1797; d. 1891.

VI.515. William Mansfield, b. ca. 1777-8 (Eliz. 5 Lyon, Eliz. 4, Nath. 3, John 2, Wm. 1). He kept a store at the head of State(?) Street, New Haven, about 1820. Mar. Lucy Peck, b. 1780, who d. Apr. 29, 1842.

VI.516. Elizabeth Mansfield, b. 1780 (Eliz. 5 Lyon, eliz. 4, Nath.3, John 2, Wm. 1). Mar. Mch. 31, 1811, Capt. Richard Everit. She d. May 23, 1818. He was of an old Long Island family and born in New York, Dec. 23, 1772. He became a Ship Master and commanded packet ships, trading between New York and Holland, London, and Bristol, England. He also made voyages to other European ports, the West In- dies and South America. He commanded the second American vessel that visited Rio Grande de Sul, in Brazil. He began going to sea at the age of eleven and followed it until he was fifty and died Mar. 4, 1863, aged 90.
